NEW...2nd Place -2D Award The "Vintage Arizona" exhibit at the new Prescott Center for the Arts Gallery (formerly Prescott Fine Arts Association) is open through October 22, 2011, and in conjunction with the Arizonal Centennial "Best Fest" celebration. My piece, titled "Singer Memories" has won 2nd place in the 2 Dimensional category. You can watch a short video by clicking here. The piece depicted in the video is not my winner, but my second entry.

 NEW...Volunteer of the Month The Board of Directors of the Prescott Fine Arts Association has seleceted me for Volunteer of the Month for the months of July and August 2011. "PFAA wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to Scott who has been an integral and important contributor to the Visual Arts Committee, and whose expertise and work is exceptionally valued! Thanks, Scott!"

NEW...Honorable Mention- 2D Award The Judge of the  "12 x 12" Exhibit at the Prescott Fine Arts Association has awarded me with Honorable Mention in the 2 Dimensional category for my piece, titled "Desoto." This work is a digital representaional of the dashboard of an old Desoto automobile photographed in Montana during 2004.

NEW...Arizona Attorney General's Office Answering the Spring of 2011 call for art, I have been accepted with 6 of my framed images adorning the walls of Arizona's Attorney General Tom Horne's offices located on West Washington Street in Phoenix. Britt James, Special Projects Coordinator said, "A warm thank you for lending your beautiful artwork to our office. Our deepest appreciation is extended to you for your refreshing philanthropy!" The work will be on display through 2014.

The Photography Show @ Tis'     

My photography work entitled "Around the Corner" has been excepted and will be included in the upcoming Photography Show, which opens on April 21st, and closes on May 3rd, 2011 at the Tis' Arts Center and Gallery, located at 105 S. Cortez Street in Prescott, Arizona.     

Established in 2007, Tis' furthers the promotion of local artists and various styles of art, is an outlet for art education and makes economically priced art available to the Prescott Community. It is an honor for me to be included in this show at one of the premier galleries in the area.
